Christian Reithmann - Horological Inventor 1818-1909. Herr Reithmann's original trade was cabinet maker. He became an autodidact watchmaker, and developed watchmaker's gear cutting machine. In 1865 he invented low voltage impulse circuit for a clock pendulum. In 1873 he exhibited at the World Exposition the Electrical Master/slave clock and a pneumatic operated telegraph with mechanical spring-powered Morse Code printout advancer. In 1874, King Ludwig, the II of Bavaria awarded Herr Reithmann the title - "Horologist of the Royal Court of Bavaria (Germany)".
