In Lenzkirch Black Forest, around 1922 founded the alarm clock
factory, based on his excellent first hand knowledge in the
clock manufacturing field, produced 6000 clocks daily in 1930.
Son Oskar and Franz assumed management.  1945 the entire factory
was dismantled.  1948 a new start, but by 1973 the company
failed due to Japanese competition and was closed for good.

The trade mark was the "J" over 'K" inside a diamond which was
inside a circle.  Also  registered were the trade marks -
"Ting-Tang" ; "UVIKA";   "K  A  I  S  E  R"  and variations
on the "J over K inside a diamond in side a circle"
