The BHI's hints and tips Web page is a collection of world-wide information collected from both the Clocks and Clocksmiths E-mailing lists. The cleaner.pdf file contains what I use to make my own clock cleaning solution. The clockayd.zip file is a zipped file which contains the program clockmakers aid version # 2.01. This program is for calculating pendulum lengths, pendulum adjustments, missing wheels, lathe cutting speeds, theoretical mainspring sizes, phases of the moon, plus various other goodies which I hope you will find useful. The programmer is Tony Harrison-Smith who has graciously permitted me to place his public domain program on both of my FTP archives.
